'Rafeiro Alentejano', or 'Rafeiro do Alentejo', is a Dog Breed.

This beautiful dog is originally from Alentejo and is a typical watchdog, indicated for herding cattle. It is a territorial dog who likes a lot of space. It is suitable to live on farms and homesteads.

 

At home, with family and people he knows, is a very calm and sweet dog, especially with children. 

In adulthood this dog may reach the following size: females = 70cm;Males = 74cm.
