Holiday in Alentejo - Where to Stay

HERDADE DOS BARROS - its a rural hotel, located in a historic town call Terena (Évora district). It offers cozy spaces that favor the well-being of its visitors. Here you will feel, certainly, at home!

Here you can enjoy nature from the terrace of the estate; relax and appreciate the tranquility of the countryside; visit the barn (with chickens, ducks, peacocks, pigs, turkeys, ostriches); swim in the Lucefécit Dam (near by the estate); taste the specialty of Alentejo food in the restaurant of the estate; visit monuments and museums; do hiking; do picnics; do guided tours of wineries and vineyards; or contemplate the sky full of stars at nightfall.

The Herdade dos Barros are about 15 minutes away from Vila Viçosa and its Ducal Palace; and about 20 minutes away from Monsaraz and its handicraft. Just 30 minutes away from Évora, and 40 minutes away from Barajoz (Spain).
